A leaked copy of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N user manual shows its leading dimensions in the segment
The new Mahindra Scorpio N is just a few days before its official debut. The next generation of popular SUVs with the suffix “N” is being promoted as the “Grandfather of SUVs”. Several espionage footage informed us of the large size of the vehicle ahead. Now we have the car leak instructions. Looking at the dimensions not only confirms the larger dimensions, but also shows that the new model is longer and wider than the Tata Safari. According to the leaked document, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio is 4662 mm long, 1917 mm wide and 1870 mm high. Its wheelbase is 2750 mm. This makes it much larger than the current version. The upcoming SUV is 206 mm longer and 97 mm wider than the current Scorpio. It even has a wheelbase 70 mm longer. It is wider than the XUV700 and is 27 mm and 115 mm high, respectively. Moreover, its wheelbase is the same. In addition, the upcoming SUV is even bigger than the Tata Safari. It is much longer, 23 mm wide and 84 mm high. It offers an even 9mm longer wheelbase.

Like the Mahindra XUV700 and the latest Mahindra Thar, the Mahindra Scorpio N will be available with both petrol and diesel engines. The first will be a 2.0-liter mStallion gasoline engine producing 170 PS. The latter will be a tested 2.2-liter mHawk mill, which will produce 130 PS on lower versions and 170 PS on higher models. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. AWD with 4-Xplor system is available in selected models. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N XUV700 and Tata Safari are based on a stair frame chassis rather than a monocoque design.
