Two weeks after Bentayga unveiled its expanded wheelbase, Bentley has announced a special edition of its new flagship designed to celebrate its arrival. The Bentayga EWB Azure First Edition will be available for 12 months of limited production, with more extensive equipment and several exclusive features.
Like previous Bentley First Editions, the Bentayga EWB will have a distinctive character both externally and internally. In addition to the additional emblems, the SUV comes with a unique set of ten-sided 22-inch wheels, decorated caps for oil and fuel filters and an open chrome pattern on the bumper inlets that match the shiny grille. Owners can choose from 16 exterior finishes included in the standard palette or a wide range of 60+ colors in an additional Extended Paint range.

Inside, the “First Edition” logo is embroidered on handmade quilt leather chairs that come standard with contrasting seams and tubes. There is a choice of different types of veneers, including Crown Cut Walnut, Dark Burr Walnut and sports options such as Koa or plain carbon fiber, pearl-like piano flax Mulliner or Dark Tint Diamond Brushed Aluminum.
Depending on the specifications, 0.075 mm hand-made metal sheets can be used for veneers on instrument panels and doors. Standard equipment includes illuminated treads, power-operated rear doors, 30-color exterior lighting (Bentley Diamond Illumination), heated steering wheel, ADAS array and 1720 W 20-speaker Naim for Bentley audio. the best of its kind.
While the equipment is very generous, there are additional features, such as the Bentley Rear Entertainment system, which adds two 10.1-inch screens that allow rear passengers to stream content from their smartphones.
Bentayga EWB First Edition 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS) and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 568 pound feet (770 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission that allows 0-60 mph (97 km / h) in 4.6 seconds and a speed of 180 mph (290 km / h).
Bentley has yet to unveil a Bentayga EWB price, and the first release is expected to be the group’s most expensive, eliminating special products with the Mulliner label in a possible limited edition.
