The Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture concept predicts the best S-Class you can buy next year

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is at the top of the brand line with many personalization options. However, buyers of ultra-luxury cars will never have enough order options, as shown in the highly customized Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture concept, which will become a limited production model in 2023.

For those unfamiliar with the fashion industry, high couture is a French term used to describe high-end fashion design that is all handmade from good materials. Thus, the Maybach S-Class has undergone a major overhaul in terms of colors and decorations, which Mercedes describes as a “unique, fashion-inspired” combination. Appearance The upper part of the body and Maybach alloy wheels are painted in two colors with a dark sea blue, and the rest of the car is a bright rose with a chrome accent.

Inside, all the fun about fashion begins. The upholstery combines crystal white and dark navy blue Nappa leather and a beautiful wild-looking buckle fabric in shades of blue, beige, pink gold and gold that cover most of the interior. The control panel is varnished with pink gold stripes to match the accents on the center console. The leather-trimmed instrument panel, doors, headboards and upholstery have a star pattern. Finally, white artificial fur without animals covers door pockets, rugs and scattered pillows, which means that passengers should make sure that their shoes are clean before entering the car.

The custom nature of the special edition is also available in the digital interface of the MBUX information entertainment system. The graphics have been updated to “visualize the podium atmosphere” with pink gold accents around the main home button, which is always visible on all menus and the central touch screen. The profile selection menu features fresh magnolia blossoms and sparkling details, while the main screen has bright clouds that ordinary Maybach models don’t have, and each user can create their own Haute Voiture profile picture by choosing from twelve beautifully dressed avatars.

Last but not least, such a fashionable model may not lose some custom fashion items. The barrel used in the interior of the S-Class is made of barrels of different sizes and two fully handmade clothes. In addition to minimizing the rest of the details, this means that Haute Voiture passengers can dress according to their fashionable vehicle if they fit the following parts – a delicate lace dress, a sewn jacket and a short A-line skirt, or a modern moccasin neckline with a long skirt.

The model can be presented here as a concept, but it is close to readiness for production. Mercedes says it will release the car in early 2023 as a strictly limited edition, without specifying a market price, production number or availability. They also did not mention the type of power unit, but we believe that the S680 needs a V12, as this model will compete with the custom versions of the recently developed Rolls-Royce Phantom.
