The 2024 BMW M5 has a great design that combines hybrid power

BMW will launch the long-awaited M3 Touring later this month, but it’s not the only high-performance model on the horizon. Spy photographers photographed the next-generation M5, which is being tested in Germany, and vice versa.

Wearing a heavy camouflage, the redesigned sports sedan embodies evolution, not revolution. However, there are many changes, because we see a larger grid, which, fortunately, is not as beautiful as it was found in his younger brother.

Updates continue, as there are clear fences and a lightweight body. They are joined by a shoulder line, and the character line of the current pattern is removed.

While not much to see, the prototype has an evolutionary greenhouse and a high-performance braking system with ventilated discs. The model also has a smart rear spoiler, brick door handles and a four-pipe exhaust system.

Spy photographers didn’t like it inside, but the upcoming i5 photos give some definition. In particular, we expect a curved display consisting of a cluster of 12.3-inch digital devices and a 14.9-inch information entertainment system. Elsewhere, there should be a minimalist shift and a reduced distribution device.

BMW is a mystery about this model, but it will share hybrid powertrains that will be connected to the upcoming XM. BMW last month announced some details about the crossover and the model’s “redesigned” V8 engine, as well as 641 hp. (478 kW / 650 PS) and a 590-pound electric motor. feet (800 Nm) of torque. It includes a hybrid special all-wheel drive system, as well as a battery pack that provides about 30 miles of electric EPA range (80 km WLTP).

Although the XM will be released this December, we should expect the M5 as the model is not expected to be introduced until 2023 or early 2024.
