The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO has gained momentum by lowering the rear seats.
Although Toyota did not provide details about the long-awaited 2023 GR Corolla, the Japanese carmaker has released a second special edition after a limited circulation scheme called MORIZO. he is behind the wheel of a race car.
Joining the GR Corolla Core Grade and Circuit Edition, the 2023 model will benefit from a series of performance upgrades that promise to make it even more powerful with the MORIZO release, which will be released worldwide for only 200 units per year.
According to Toyota, the release of the GR Corolla MORIZO is designed in accordance with the desired characteristics of the boss Akio Toyoda and is the latest version of the hot hatch track-oriented. It will be available in Windchill Pearl and the dark gray in the picture.

Toyota started with a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine. “Standard” GR Corolla 300 hp. and 273 pound-feet (370 Nm) of torque, but some adjustments mean that the torque for the MORIZO release has been increased to 295 pound-feet (400 Nm).
A series of weight-saving measures that complement the extra torque, which means that the MORIZO release weighs almost 100 pounds (45 kg) less than the Circuit edition. This savings was made by purchasing rear seats, rear door speakers, a rear window adjuster, a rear cleaning knife and engine, and new 18-inch forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Other lightweight components from the MORIZO release include a false carbon fiber roof, aluminum hood and aluminum front door panels. New front brake channels have also been installed.
Proximity transfer and adjustable suspension
Toyota has also made an effort to develop a six-speed manual transmission for the GR Corolla MORIZO Edition, which promises to improve acceleration. The Japanese carmaker has equipped it with red monotone shock absorbers and a unique suspension setting “to feel fit to race for accurate driving.”
Some adjustments have been made to the interior of the GR Corolla Morizo Edition. There are new black and red trim around the door handles, steering wheel and side fans. It is also made of Brin Naub suede and synthetic leather with red stitching. The car also has red mesh inserts on the seats, as well as a sports rudder wrapped in suede.
