Ford Performance mocks “Electrifying Something” for Goodwood

Ford Pro and Ford Performance mock the mysterious collaboration, so the BMW M3 Touring wins the company at the Goodwood Speed Festival.

While there isn’t much to see other than a full-width light strip and illuminated Ford Performance logos, this model could be an electric van, given that the Ford Pro is involved and the teaser symbolizes “something electrifying.”

It’s not much, but Ford unveiled the E-Transit Custom in May and mocked the upcoming Transit Courier, Tourneo Courier, Tourneo Custom and E-Transit. Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom will arrive in 2023, while Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier will arrive next year.

The teaser doesn’t shine much on what to expect, but the most likely contenders could be modified versions of the E-Transit Custom or E-Turneo Custom. While this is still visible, the presence of Ford Performance shows that we can expect something a little unpleasant.

There are still many questions, but the E-Transit Custom is an electric turner because of its futuristic front fascia and the sport of “complete electrical architecture without problems”. Ford did not specify many features, but said earlier that the van will have a range of up to 236 miles (380 km), as well as the ability to quickly charge with DC, towing and ProPower Onboard technology. The carmaker will unveil additional details this September before the van goes into production in the second half of 2023.
