Electric 2023 BMW iX1 has 313 HP and 272 miles, but it does not come to the US

Presented only in the form of xDrive30, the 2023 BMW iX1 is the first all-wheel drive EV to compete with BMW in the premium compact segment. The BMW iX1 xDrive30 consumes between 17.3 and 18.4 kWh per 100 km, resulting in a range of 413 km (256 miles) to 438 km (272 miles).

iX1 buyers will have access to the IONITY charging network throughout Europe and will be waived the monthly membership fee for the first 12 months. Buyers will also be happy to know that the global warming potential of the automaker iX1 is about 30% lower than its new X1 sDrive19i over its life cycle, and that the global warming potential of its life cycle is about 60% lower if renewable power is used for charging. .

Also, from November 2022, two gasoline hybrids will be offered. The first is the 1.5-liter turbocharged xDrive25e with a three-cylinder and a hybrid system, 245 hp. and 352 pound-feet (477 Nm) combined. It has the same basic plug-in hybrid power unit, offering high performance, but with 326 hp. and an updated xDrive30e up to 352 pound-feet (477 Nm).

The new 2023 BMW X1 will be available throughout Europe from October. Price information has not been published yet.
