One of Cristiano Ronaldo’s bodyguards had a particularly scary day in the office after he hit the football star’s Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse on Monday.

Reports from Europe say that Ronaldo and his entourage are currently in Mallorca and that he was in a small convoy in another car at the time of the incident. Pictures taken after the accident show a French hypercar hitting a brick wall on the side of the road after appearing to have cornered at an excessive speed.

Pictures shared online Daily Mail Indicates some damage to the front of the car, visible scratches on the bumper and splitter. In addition, the passenger side of the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse seems to be severely damaged and needs some major repairs.

A source close to the British tabloid said the bodyguard who drove the Bugatti had taken full responsibility for the crash.

“The car hit a wall, but there was only material damage, no one was injured and the driver claimed responsibility for the accident,” the source said. “Information about who was behind the wheel and what happened is available in the police database and can be accessed by the court or officers if additional investigation is needed.”

Ronaldo drove his rare Bugatti to Mallorca in a Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Given that he is expected to earn $ 125 million in the 2021-2022 season, he has enough money to repair the car.
