The Hyundai Creta facial is expected to be released later this year, a matter of time before the 2022 Kia Seltos facial is released.
The 2019 Kia Seltos was a success. Its dominance in the C-SUV segment lasted until 2020, when the second generation Hyundai Creta appeared. Even today, Seltos is a force to be reckoned with. However, with the emergence of many new competitors, the age has suddenly grown, and both Korean SUVs have lost their luster. Not surprisingly, the faces of both cars are scheduled to launch later this year. Let’s see what the face of Kia Seltos 2022 will bring to the table –

2022 Kia Seltos Facelift launch date
Although the Kia Seltos was released a year before the last Hyundai Creta, it has received several minor upgrades. The last of them was in April 2022. Therefore, it is possible that the look will come after the release of the updated Hyundai Creta. We consider here that it will be released in late 2022.
Style updates
The few spy shots we’ve seen so far have made it clear that the updated version will be the revised front end. Updates include a new bumper, wider grille and new headlights. The side profile remains unchanged, except for the change of alloy wheels. There should be a new bumper and new taillights on the back. Several new color options can be introduced.

2022 Kia Seltos Facelift interior features
Not much is known about the interior of the facelift. But a list of changes to the packaging and longer features should be on the maps. The vehicle should be fully digital, but the most important update comes in the form of Level-1 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This will help Seltos keep potential customers away from the MG Astor and Mahindra XUV700.
Security
Kia Seltos for India scored less than 3 stars in NCAP’s Global Safe Transportation for India program. This is in stark contrast to the Australian-style 5-star rating recommended by ANCAP. The difference is simply due to the fact that the Indian model is based on an irrigated platform (SP2i and SP2). It is known that facelifting does not see any change in this aspect. Even all current security features will be replaced. These include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and climbing control (HAC). The introduction of ADAS, of course, makes the C-SUV much safer.

2022 Kia Seltos Facelift Specifications
Even the specifications may not work. Modern versions of the engine – 1.5-liter atmospheric gasoline, 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel and 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine – will be retained. The power of each 1.5-liter engine is 115 horsepower, and the turbocharged engine belts are 140 horsepower. All engines are standardly integrated with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, the 1.5-liter gasoline engine comes with a CVT option. Diesel and turbocharged engines are sold with a 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DCT, respectively.
