Ola is one of the most prominent electric scooter startups in the country. However, it has been having a tough time with customers’ complaints for a while now.
This latest case of an irritated Ola scooter owner surfaces where he damages his electric two-wheeler at the service centre. Unfortunately, we have come across innumerable instances of people dissatisfied with the service or quality of their electric scooters. In fact, there have been cases of broken suspensions and other quality issues in many Ola electric scooters in the past. I must mention here that the management had taken cognizance of the matter and offered remedies. Still, a few cases like this latest one pop up frequently.
Ola Scooter Owner Damages Own Vehicle
This post stems from yehlatestnewshai on Instagram. The visuals capture a rather disappointing scenario. The owner is so disgruntled by his electric scooter that he brought it to the showroom and started damaging it further. As per the information in the video, this case took place in Mangrol, Gujarat at the Veraval Ola Electric Bikes Service Center. The man is evidently irritated and is seen throwing the EV on the floor and even kicking it. He is pointing to the service centre staff and blabbering about the problems he was facing with the scooter.
Unfortunately, we are not able to understand what he is saying. Still, we see that there are a lot of people around who are making the video. Perhaps, they are all either the service centre personnel or the supporters of the Ola scooter owner. In any case, he is talking about filling out some form. The staff arrives at the scene and are trying to calm the man down. The video ends abruptly and we are not able to see what happened next. In any case, this is yet another instance which shows how frustrated some people are with the service and quality of Ola.
Our View
I must acknowledge that there are always two sides of a coin. We must not jump to any conclusions based on such videos. Sure, the man is clearly enraged. Still, until we know the full picture, we would like to refrain from commenting. Having said that, we know that such occurrences are becoming more common with each passing day. I can only hope that Ola looks into such matters with more purpose and comes up with a permanent solution so that the EV owners don’t have to face such situations.
