While the next generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is being developed, the automaker has unveiled the latest version of the performance flagship Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic +. The special edition E-Class and AMG twin-turbo V8, available in showrooms and real estate, will be limited to 999 units as a farewell to the current generation, as the new model will replace it with a plug-in hybrid power unit.

Visually, the Final Edition’s exclusive matte graphite gray magno exterior shades feature a set of 20-inch AMG forged wheels, special AMG markings and profile graphics, as well as an AMG night package. The latter includes a high-gloss black finish for the front divider, side floor inserts, panel finishes, window line finishes, mirror covers, rear diffuser and four trapezoidal tubes. If necessary, buyers can choose I and II carbon packs if they want to process carbon fiber.

When you open the doors, you will be greeted by stainless steel door sills with a lowered AMG logo and illuminated AMG brushes. The AMG Performance seat package offers additional support for heated and electrically adjustable seats upholstered in titanium gray pearl / black AMG Nappa leather with a contrasting seam of yellow.

Nappa leather can also be found in the instrument cluster and belt line, as well as the AMG Performance steering wheel with a flat bottom combined with Dinamica microfiber. The center console and the dashboard with outdoor lighting have a lot of carbon fiber, as well as AMG floor coverings. Finally, the numbered AMG Final Edition symbol on the center console represents the limited nature of this special edition.

There are no changes under the hood, the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 603 hp. (450 kW / 612 PS) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the fully variable 4Matic + with reverse Drift mode, power is sent to all four wheels. Note that this is the latest E-Class to work with the V8, so it has a collection option for AMG fans.

As mentioned above, Mercedes-AMG produces only 999 units of the E 63 S 4Matic + Final Edition and offers its owners a special AMG closed car cover as a gift. The car manufacturer has not announced a price, but we expect that the final release will be slightly more expensive than the usual E 63 S due to the additional kit.
