Last year, Manhart won the BMW X5 Competition-based and stunning 812 hp. and introduced the powerful MHX5 800, which produces 797 pound-feet (1080 Nm) of torque. Fast forward 18 months and the German tuner has released a new version of the X5, now called the MHX5 700, which has been modified with low volume.
Under the hood of the X5 Competition is usually 625 hp. and a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 750 Nm of torque. It’s an SUV, but Manhart obviously thought it could be improved, so it’s now 730 hp. and 664 pound-feet (900 Nm) of torque.

To achieve this, Manhart could deploy his MHtronik auxiliary control unit or rebuild the ECU card. The X5 M is also equipped with a valve-controlled stainless steel hood and four 100 mm hoses. Consumers who really want to make a statement can choose race pipes without catalytic converters, Manhart stainless steel OPF Delete replacement pipes and Manhart OPF Deleter.
A number of other modifications have been made to the MHX5 700. For example, the SUV not only improves handling, but also fits a height-adjustable H&R spring to lower it. The 23 × 11-inch wheels are also available in four corners, complemented by 315/25 tires and black.
Some modifications are also included in the body itself. This includes the installation of a carbon fiber hood with large air vents, carbon fiber front splitters, two-piece carbon fiber side skirts and a carbon fiber diffuser with a central fog lamp.
A number of interior adjustments have also been made. These include special Manhart paddles, carbon fiber steering wheel and unique floor mats.
