The virtual realm is free of every physical and imaginative boundary which is what leads to the inception of such unique iterations.
This pickup truck rendition of the popular Mahindra XUV700 SUV is definitely rare. Digital artists often deploy their imagination and creativity to devise unfathomable avatars of popular cars. XUV700 is the flagship SUV from the Indian auto giant. People have been buying it a lot since its inception. There are simple reasons for that – it comes with a 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP, it has tons of modern amenities and connectivity functions and there are powerful engine options along with all-wheel-drive configuration and ADAS. For now, let us glance at the specifics of this compelling illustration.
Mahindra XUV700 Pickup Truck Imagined
This creative piece has come to us courtesy of SRK Designs on YouTube. The artist has delved deep into the details to come up with a believable version of this pickup. In all honesty, he/she has delivered on that front. To me, it looks like something that is in production at the moment. I must admit I like such concepts which are not too far away from reality. At the front of this pickup, the fascia is almost similar to the regular XUV700. However, the addition of a solid winch certainly elevates its off-roading traits. However, its biggest attraction is the side profile.
There are colossal low-profile alloy wheels which are encapsulated in prominent wheel arches in matte black claddings. Since the tyres are enormous, they raise the ride height of the pickup truck significantly. To make its road presence even more imposing, the artist has tinted the windows black. Finally, at the rear, we see the addition of a large cargo compartment specifically added to complete the pickup truck silhouette. I particularly like the flush-fitting door handles. All in all, this is quite a unique version of the famous 7-seat SUV.
Our View
Now while this visualization looks stunning in terms of aesthetics, I would argue that the Mahindra XUV700 pickup truck, if it ever makes it to production, won’t be as capable as something like the Thar Roxx or Scorpio Getaway. The reason is simple. The XUV700 is based on a monocoque chassis, while a ladder-frame chassis suits pickup trucks the most. Anyway, these are specifications of the real world. In the virtual space, all that matters is how compelling it looks. In my opinion, it scores a perfect 10 in that regard.
