Latest Maruti Swift Looks Dope In Race Car Avatar

RC Verma

Automobile artists often deploy their skills and creativity in the digital realm to bring us enticing iterations of mass-market cars.

This race car avatar of the mighty popular Maruti Swift is a testament to the imagination of modern digital artists. Swift is one of the highest-selling vehicles in India ever. It is currently in its 4th generation avatar. The largest carmaker in the country has done some pretty impressive work to keep it so popular even after almost being in existence for close to 2 decades. In fact, that is the reason why so many digital artists choose it to demonstrate their creativity on it. Let us delve into the specifics of this latest rendition.

Maruti Swift in a Race Car Avatar

The details of this post come to us courtesy of bimbledesigns on Instagram. The artist has evidently taken inspiration from the racing cars and applied it to this Swift. At the front, while the basic silhouette is very much Swift, the wide fenders and low stance certainly put this car in the racing category. I like the contoured bumper with a splitter which is almost touching the ground. The two hood scoops and the black paint on the bonnet elevate the sporty character too. Things get extreme once you get a look at the side profile. The ginormous alloy wheels with low-profile tyres take centre stage.

In fact, they are barely able to fit inside the wheel arches. Additionally, the black side pillars and roof lend it a floating roof effect. There are sharp creases on the side door panels which give it a certain charm. At the rear, it is hard to miss the colossal roof-mounted spoiler along with the traditional roof antenna. There are no ‘Swift’ badges at the rear and the bootlid is relatively plain. However, the artist compensates for that by installing a sporty black rear bumper with dual exhaust pipes and a diffuser. All in all, this has to be among the sportiest Maruti Swift cars in recent times.

Our View

I have been capturing various iterations of prominent vehicles in the virtual realm for a long time. It always fascinates me beyond perception how these artists are able to come up with intriguing ideas to change the entire demeanour of a car we have seen and loved for decades. That reflects their talent. Of course, such extreme renditions can’t ever make it to production. However, they give us something with which we can widen our horizons of perception. I shall keep bringing such interesting concepts in times to come.
