A new variant of the popular Hyundai Venue has been launched in India. This is the S(O)+ trim even offers an electric sunroof, keeping in mind people’s obsession with the feature. It has a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The aim is to offer tons of modern amenities at Rs 10 lakh to make it competitive. This trim gets a sole 5-speed manual transmission. The higher variants can also be had with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol 3-cylinder GDi engine which generates a healthy 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak power and torque. You can have this mill with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. Finally, there is also a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine which produces a healthy 116 PS and 250 Nm of peak power and torque. It comes with a sole 6-speed manual gearbox. Overall, the prices range from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.48 lakh, ex-showroom.
