Hyundai Creta is the most successful mid-size SUV in our country. Part of the reason for its massive appeal, along with tons of modern features, safety and styling, is the availability of multiple powertrain options. Overall, the Creta comes in three variants – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol (most powerful in the segment) or a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. These generate 115 PS / 144 Nm, 160 PS / 253 Nm and 116 PS / 250 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Performing the transmission duties are manual, automatic, CVT and DCT gearboxes. Our View

Special edition models are generally geared towards a specific niche of customers. The Dark edition avatars, in particular, entice young buyers who want their vehicles to look sporty. That is the purpose of such trims. These ensure that you get to experience the regular vehicle in a completely new avatar without having to perform crazy aftermarket modifications. With the Creta Knight, there are enough aesthetic customizations to set it apart from the regular model at a reasonable premium. We shall have to wait to see how well the customers embrace it.
