At the front, it gets the trademark hexagonal grille with chrome slats, sleek LED headlamps with integrated DRLs and a sporty bumper. An upright bonnet completes the butch stance. On the sides, the prominent wheel arches with black cladding neatly accommodate the large alloy wheels and the black side pillars lend a floating roof effect. Completing the rear section is a split-LED taillamp cluster connect via a thin panel, Skoda lettering on the boot lid and a rugged bumper with a silver insert. All in all, the road presence of the Kodiaq will be that of a typical Skoda car.

This means a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill which churns out a healthy 190 hp and 320 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine pairs with a sporty and quick-shifting 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. This gearbox powers all four wheels which lend it decent off-roading capabilities. However, by virtue of being a CBU, we can expect the prices to be over Rs 50 lakh, ex-showroom. That puts it at par with the German luxury SUVs.
