The model year 2024 versions of the Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross have received some modern amenities to entice more customers.
The Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross now offer a few new features in the model year 2024 versions. The French carmaker has been having a great time in India at the moment. After the C3 siblings, it launched the Basalt yesterday, making it the first mass-market coupe SUV in the country. It is evidently focusing solely on SUVs. That is understandable since SUVs are gaining immense momentum and traction, not just in India, but globally. Hence, Citroen wants to capitalize on this trend. To refresh its model range, the updated SUVs bag some usable amenities.
Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross Get More Features
We were able to experience the new model year SUVs in the flesh. Both Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross now get a new foldable key fob, a new insert added around the AC vents on the dashboard, electrically foldable ORVMs, connected car tech features, window switches on the door panels for the rear passengers (previously, they were on the centre console) and 6 airbags. Note that the C3 Aircross now also offers a sliding armrest between the front seats to enhance comfort. All these might be small changes, but they are certainly handy to elevate the convenience of the occupants.
In terms of the powertrains, the MY2024 Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross remain the same. The C3 draws power from either a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates a decent 83 PS and 115 Nm or a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol mill which churns out a decent 110 PS and 190 Nm (205 Nm with the automatic transmission) of peak power and torque, respectively. One could choose between either a manual or an automatic gearbox. It ranges from Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 9 lakh, ex-showroom. On the other hand, the larger C3 Aircross just has the turbo petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission options. This SUV bears a price tag between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 14.11 lakh, ex-showroom.
