Indian roads can be quite perilous as this case surfaces where goons attack a Tata Harrier owner. Such shocking incidents are unfortunately prevalent in our country. That makes driving here extremely risky and dangerous. Road rage is a huge issue not just in India, but across the globe. But I have been reporting innumerable road rage incidents in India in recent times. This latest case is yet another addition to that list. Let us get into the details of this incident.
Goons Attack Tata Harrier Owner
This video comes from Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel features content around road safety and performances of cars in such incidents. This time around, two cases have been showcased. In the first case, a group of goons was seen chasing a Tata Harrier owner. In fact, there were multiple cars gathered around the Harrier which is why the driver had to stop in the middle of the road during the night. Reportedly, the goons used sticks and axes to break the front and rear windshields of the Harrier and even thrashed the driver. Thankfully, he just suffered a few injuries and a fracture to the hand. Two persons were arrested in relation to this case.
In the second case, a strange occurrence is seen. A car owner is seen overtaking an Ola Scooter rider. For some reason, this aggravated the two-wheeler rider. He overtook the car owner and parked his scooter right in front of the car. He, then, went on to pick up a stone and came at the car driver and started hitting the car. He broke the ORVM and even threatened to hit the owner. Fearing for his life, the car owner drove off in a hurry. Interestingly, a Renault Kwid came from the opposite direction and stopped in front of the car. The owner suspects that he was also a part of this Ola Scooter rider’s gang. Thankfully, everything was recorded in a dashcam.
Our View
We can only hope that the authorities take cognizance of this matter and deal with the miscreants appropriately. One can’t just let these goons harass the general public like this in broad daylight. The Police must take stringent action against such people who think that they can take the law into their own hands and do as they please. The car owners in both cases were evidently left shocked and distressed after this case. It is high time justice is served, especially since there is enough evidence from the dashcam footage. This incident also highlights the importance of installing a dashcam in cars.
