TD Permanent Life Insurance

Coming back to TD Insurance reviews

We could not find any Google reviews for TD. Some other big insurers, like Manulife, do not have Google reviews. TD Life Insurance, however, does have reviews on Insureye. Sadly, they are nothing to write home about, with customers writing about several issues. On Insureye, TD life received 1.6 stars out of 5.

Something to keep in mind is that many large insurers also receive low ratings. An example is Manulife, one of the big four Canadian life insurers, which has the same score as TD Insurance. As we said, online criticism is not the only criterion you should judge a life insurer. So we give them a rating of 3/5.

Products and Features

TD Life Insurance offers three-term life products and a guaranteed issue life product. They do not have a whole life or universal life plan in their product line.

Term Life Insurance

Term life insurance is the purest form of insurance since it has a single aim: To pay the insurance amount to your beneficiary. The protection lasts for a specific number of years — like 10, 20, or 30 — or until you reach a particular age.

You will not find any added extras, such as an investment account, attached to this product. In a way, this is a good thing because their absence keeps the premium rate low. Term life insurance is the most affordable among all types of insurance. If you want the best coverage at the best price and have temporary financial needs, term life insurance is likely to be right for you. With this, you get a choice of the following three-term plans.

Term-10:

As you may guess, you get protection for 10 years with this plan. Term-10 could make sense for you if:

Your home loan is in its final 10 years
Do you have a car or student loan
You will retire a few years from now
Your kids will soon become financially independent
