Road rage is becoming a serious menace to the society where even the innocent bystanders get entangled.

A rather shocking case has emerged where a man in his Tata Safari crashed into the Toyota Fortuner of his father on a public road. The family feud took an ugly turn in which even the unsuspecting road users get enwrapped. Road rage is a serious issue and I have been reporting increasing cases in recent times. In this latest incident, the entire family was involved including an infant. The news has captured the attention of the entire country as big news houses reported about it. Let us take a look at the details here.

Son Crashes Tata Safari into Toyota Fortuner of His Father

The details of this case stem from Nikhil Rana on YouTube. As per the information in the video, this case took place on the Ambarnath-Badlapur road in Maharashtra between a Sharma family. Satish Sharma, 38, allegedly drove his black Tata Safari into his father’s Toyota Fortuner in the middle of the road. Engulfed in road rage, after hitting it the first time, he drove ahead, made a U-turn and hit the Fortuner again from the front. The Fortuner had Bindeshwar Sharma (Satish’s father), Satish’s wife, his son and other family members. The domestic dispute took an ugly turn as Satish started colliding with his father’s Fortuner despite dozens of people around both SUVs.

As a result of this aggressive tussle, 5 people were injured including the family members and some bystanders. They are being treated in a hospital nearby. In fact, in a fit of anger, Satish Sharma even dragged a motorist under his SUV for some distance. Thankfully, he survived this atrocity. The damage to both the SUVs is severe. Satish’s father has lodged an FIR against him with charges of attempt to murder. A thorough Police investigation is underway. There is plenty of video evidence as most onlookers were recording the almost unbelievable saga. I shall keep an eye out for further developments in this case.

Our View

Road rage is the biggest vice of driving on public roads. We witness people losing their minds, mostly over relatively petty issues. In a sudden burst of anger, they end up doing regrettable deeds. While it is nigh impossible to control anger, I would like to urge our readers to always take a deep breath and take a moment before committing to any such act which can potentially alter the course of your life. There is no issue that can’t be handled amicably. I hope you will practice patience during such situations and encourage everyone around you to do the same.
